It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Wanda Janeve McKeown passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Mar. 14, 2003, peacefully in her home at the age of 76.

Wanda was born in Grandview, Man. on April 14, 1926 and grew up in Lytton until moving to Chilliwack.

She will be lovingly remembered for her love of her family. Mom was an avid sports fan, always there to support her children and grandchildren.

Mom will be sadly missed and always treasured.

Wanda is survived by her sister, Edna Moran of Cloverdale; sons, Richard McKeown, Bradley McKeown, Scott McKeown, Todd (Marlies) McKeown, and Russel (Tammy) McKeown, all of Chilliwack, and son Michael (Carmen) McKeown of Grand Forks; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Wanda was predeceased by her husband Allen McKeown in 1984; sisters, Thelma and June; and brothers, Ray, Irvine, and Ernie.

A Service of Remembrance was held March 18, 2003 at Greendale Mennonite Brethren Church, Chilliwack. Henderson’s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

The family would like to thank Mr. Rusty Reimer and his family for their support and guidance through this very difficult time.
