Walter Willie Wiebe passed away on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 82 years. He was born December 18, 1924 in Rempel, Saskatchewan. Walter is survived by his wife Lenora Wiebe, sons Ken (Lorraine) and Doug (Eva); daughters, Winona, Donna (Alan) Goerz, Laura (Marvin) Rempel and Lenora (Tony) Bal; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Walter Wiebe served for many years with School District # 33, retiring in 1985 as District Counsellor. Walter dedicated his life to serving his family, his church and his Heavenly Father.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 14th at 1:30 pm at Broadway Church, 46611 Maple Ave, Chilliwack. Pall Bearers will be grandsons Glendon, Grant, Derek and Marc Wiebe, Nathan Reimer, Marcel Bal and Taylor and Drew Rempel.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 13 at 7pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave.
