Violet Rosemary Boswell passed away in Chilliwack on Sept. 8, 2003 at the age of 97. She was born April 24, 1906 in Croydin, England.
She is survived by three daughters, Sylvia (Hugh) Laughlin and Joan Murphy both of Chilliwack and Rosemary (Richard) Stewart of Kelowna. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
Violet was predeceased by her husband Sydney in 1992, son Raymond in 1982 and great granddaughter Melaine Coffey in 1999.
For many years, Violet was the organist at St. Peters Church in Rosedale, St. John’s in Sardis and the Christ Church Anglican Parish in Hope.
