Violet Elizabeth (Elise) Carter passed away suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003 at McIntosh Lodge, Chilliwack, at age 87 years. She was born March 9, 1915 in Pocahontas, Alta.
Elise is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edith Blake of Richmond, and Mrs. Joy (Don) Miller of Edmonton, Alta.; stepson Gilbert (Lorna) Carter of Armstrong; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Wallace Carter in 1978; her parents; sister Marion McGregor; and brothers, Jack, David, and Reginald Brown.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 at 11 a.m. at New Apostolic Church, 6665 Beaufort Rd., Sardis, Priest George Gajsek officiating.
