Victoria Clara LAUZON

Victoria Clara Lauzon (nee Regnier) was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the age of 94 years. She spent her final two years at the Bear Creek Lodge Care Facility in Surrey, B.C.

She was born on January 21, 1911 in St. Hippolyte, Sask., the fourth child in a family of nine children. On February 2, 1931 she married Henri Aurel Lauzon. They had nine children.

She was an active member of her church and of the Catholic Women’s League.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Emil (Annette), Albert (Florence), Paul (Betty), Diana (Herb) Klein, Annette (Eddie) Sabatini, Lyle, Evelyn (Jim) Bailie, and Vivian Anderson; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Henri in February 1996; her infant daughter Annie in 1931; and her son-in-law Ron Anderson in 2003.

Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilliwack. Funeral celebration will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Celebrant will be Father Eugenio Aloisio. A reception will be held at St. Mary’s Centre following the interment.
