It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Velma.
Velma passed away on May 14, 2010 at Chilliwack Hospice at 71 years after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Ellie and Gottlieb Engel; sisters: Ruth and Violet; and brothers: Elmer, Arnold and Wilburt.
Velma is survived by her loving husband Regis, Brothers and sisters, Allan (Grace), Melvin, Robert, Grace (Wiks) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thank you to 3rd floor Chilliwack General Hospital Staff, also Cascade Hospice Care staff for their dedication and professional care of Velma, and Dr. Fitzpatrick, our family doctor and medical practitioner.
