Family and loved ones of Valerie mourned her passing as she gently went to be with Our Lord & Savior.
Valerie is survived by her mother, Margaret Hillis (Chilliwack) and pre deceased by her father, Leonard “Snoopy” Hillis.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Vincent Hillis Benoit (and Matt); her sisters Cheryl Tracey Hofmann (Chilliwack) and Debbie Shantz (Fred) Owen Sound, ON. Many relatives and friends are remembering her with love and heartfelt gratitude for having known her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Chilliwack United Church, 45835 Spadina Ave. Friday August 14, 2009 @ 1:00 pm. (refreshments to follow)
