Tryntje ROMEYN (nee VAN GOGH)

Tryntje Romeyn (nee Van Gogh) passed away peacefully March 16, 2005 at the age of 85 at Ebenezer Seniors Home, Abbotsford, B.C. She was born April 10, 1919 in Krimpen a/d Yssel, the Netherlands. She immigrated to Chilliwack, B.C., Canada in 1949.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, 2 brothers, 1 sister, her husband, the late Rev. Martin Romeyn and 1 grandchild.

Tryntje is survived by Gerrit (Joka) Romeyn, Leny (John) Viets, Agnes (Arie) Van Wingerden, Rita (Dave) Hampson, Nelly (Ron) Kaye, Marian (Dwight) Moore, Pete (Wendy) Romeyn, John (Theresa) Romeyn, Louise (J.T.) Cazander, 30 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. Sat., March 19, 2005 at Bethel Netherlands Reformed Church on Broadway, Chilliwack. Rev. Pieter Van Ruitenburg officiating. Internment to follow at Chilliwack Cemetery. Opportunity for condolences will be March 18, from 7-9 p.m. at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home.

Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Timothy Christian School.
