Born in Shanghai, China, on November 22, 1934, passed away at White Rock, B.C., October 11, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Tim came to Canada from England with his family in 1947 and spent most of his life on the Lower Mainland. He was an accomplished athlete as a young man, excelling in boxing, soccer and track and field.Tim later volunteered in minor sports programs in White Rock and Chilliwack. Predeceased by his infant son, Michael, Tim is survived by Mary his loving wife of 40 years, his devoted children, Tricia (Anthony) and Vincent, his brothers, Vin (Jean), Jim (Marion), Terry (Linda), sisters Nora (Ted), Beth (Derwyn), Debbie (Michael) and a large extended family. His family wishes to thank Dr. Karen Innes and Dr. Bob Greenwood, the nurses and staff of the emergency, medical and palliative care units of Peace Arch Hospital for their kindness and care. A remembrance service will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, 12953 20th Avenue, South Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peace would be appreciated.
