Thomas Warner CROWE

Thomas Warner Crowe, late of Chilliwack, passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on October 1, 2004 at the age of 80 years. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario on July 7, 1924.

He is survived by his wife Mary of 28 years, four stepchildren; Albert (Heather) Savage of Coquitlam, Dennis (Maria) Savage of Peachland, Donald (Darlene) Savage of Vancouver and Valerie Thompson of Calgary, eight step grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Ken Crowe of Peterborough, Ont. and sister Ann (Bob) Trussell of Brockville, Ont.

He was predeceased by step-son, David in 2004.

Tom was a veteran of World War II and served with the Governor General’s Foot Guards. He served in France and Germany with a tank regiment and was severely wounded. He recuperated from his wounds in a hospital in England and completed his rehabilitation in Canada. Following a recovery period, Tom worked as a meteorologist for the Federal Government at The Pas, Man.

Services for Mr. Thomas Crowe will be held on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at the Chapel of Henderson’s at 1:30 pm with Major John Moore officiating.
