God received a new Christmas Angel on Christmas Day.

Thomas James (Tommy) Devlin, affectionately known as Paddy and formerly of Belfast, Northern Ireland, passed away at the Gateby Intermediate Care Residence in Vernon, B.C. on December 25th, 2008 at the age of 80 years.

Paddy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathleen, to whom he was married for 57 years; his daughters, Colleen and her sons, Kyle and Brodie of Calgary, Alberta, Julie (Kevin) and their family, Shannon, Erin, Devin, Keegan and Liam of Comox, B.C. and Kelly and her daughter, Trinity of Coldstream, B.C; one sister, Josephine Bridges; two brothers, Brian and Terry Devlin and their families in the UK. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael and several other family members.

Cremation preceded a Memorial Service which will be held at a later date in Chilliwack, B.C. where Tommy started and completed his career with the Canadian Armed Forces. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Tommy to their local branch of the Alzheimer Society.
