Theodore CHAPLIN

Theodore Chaplin passed away in Chilliwack on October 11, 2005 at the age of 83 years. He was born on a homestead in Saskatchewan on November 23, 1921. He was a veteran of WWII.

Theodore is survived by his loving family, wife Anne and their children; daughter Barbara (Mike) Flynn of Nanoose Bay, B.C., son David Chaplin of Toronto, Ontario, 4 grand children; Jennifer, Erin, Shinara and Brieanna. He is also survived by two brothers; Marvin (Florence) Chalupiak of Prince Albert, Sask. and John (Pat) Chaplin of Kamloops and two sisters; Rose Grosul of Vancouver and Minnie (Lawrence) Meier of Prince George and many nieces.

Theodore was predeceased by his son Larry in 1957, sister Stella in 2000 and brother Bill in 2004.

A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Legion Padre Fred Tassinari officiating. Donations may be made to the B.C. Lung Association or the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
