With great sadness, we announce the passing of Teuna who passed away peacefully on July 1, 2009 at Chilliwack Hospital.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Arnold and her dearly loved daughter Eileen.
She is survived by sons: Wayne (Arlene), Reg (Chris), Miles (Wendy), Kirby (Andrea); and by her many brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
With the exception of a few years in Southern Alberta, Teuna lived in and around the Fraser Valley her whole life and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mom was a loving and caring person who always had a positive outlook on life and kind words for everyone.
She was an avid gardener and loved her plants, flowers and hummingbirds.
Teuna touched all who knew her with her warm and beautiful smile.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Henderson’s Funeral Home, with a Tea to follow.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Basson and Mickey, also the nurses at Chilliwack Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
