Taylor Ray Nerbas

November 18, 2006

Taylor Ray Nerbas, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away November 18, 2006 peacefully in his bed at the age of 14. He was born August 13, 1992 in Chilliwack and had lived here all his life.

Taylor enjoyed making people smile, listening to music, listening to his classmates and all their different voices and he liked sitting on the couch and watching most sports on T.V.

Taylor’s memory will live on in the hearts of his parents, Troy and Toni-Lynne, step-parents, Pat and Shelley; brothers, Colton and Payton and step-sisters, Chelsea, Courtney and Brittini. Taylor will be sadly missed by his grandparents, Ron and Dana Atkins and Vern and Karen Nerbas, plus aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends and extended family.

Taylor developed a rare virus called Encephalitis at 3 months of age and he lived with Cerebral Palsy throughout his life.

Amidst his struggles, Taylor always had a shining smile to everyone who knew him. Taylor loved his music, camping and warm baths; but especially loved being near his family and friends. He had a smile to light up any room which will never be forgotten. His spirit was magnetic, drawing people to him wherever he went. God gave Taylor the peace he needed to continue his battle and still find much joy in living.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Taylor’s life will be Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on School Street. Please join the family afterwords for tea and refreshments.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Fraser Valley Child Development Center of Chilliwack or B.C. Children’s Hospital.

Very special thanks go out to the numerous doctors, nurses, therapists and teachers who have been a major part in Taylor’s life.

The family would also like to thank everyone for all their kind and caring attributions during this difficult time.
