Sylvia went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on May 1, 2004 at the age of 85 years.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and working within her church .

She is survived by 5 children — Phillip (Estelle) Howard — Richmond

- Paul Howard — Chilliwack
- David Howard — Chilliwack
- Francine George — Penticton
- 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Huhn officiating. Interment to follow in the Chilliwack Cemeteries.
