Stephen TEREPOCKI

Stephen Terepocki passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on July 9, 2006 at Chilliwack General Hospital at 89 years of age.

Stephen’s parents came to Canada from Hungary in the early 1900’s. He was born on a farm in Lestock, Saskatchewan on June 13, 1917.

Stephen settled in Mission, BC in 1939. He served in the RCAF in Trenton, Ontario during the early 1950’s. Stephen went on to spend over 40 years in the Logging industry, on the West Coast.

He leaves behind his loving wife Louise Terepocki; three sons, William (Inger), Clearbrook, Robert (Lindsay), Maple Ridge and Jim (Cori), Chilliwack; his grandchildren, Chris (Cathy), Lisa, Kari (Steven), Dana, Carla (Josh), Laura, Tiffany, Preston and Jacob and one great-grandchild, Iris.

He is also survived by his sister Mary, Ocean Park, WA, and his three brothers, Mike, Mission, Tony, Mission and Hank (Phyllis), Edmonton and sister-in-law Kay, Mission. Stephen will also be sadly missed by his sisters in law Claudia Farmer and Margaret Luttman, brother in law George Luttman and brother and sister in law Jim and Grace Johnson and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sixof his brothers.

Steve, Dad, Grandpa we will love you and keep you in our hearts always.

A viewing for family and friends was held on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 3:00 pm from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home; Stephen’s nephew Rev. Paul Thomas officiated the service.

The family wishes to thank Dr. P. Weatherston and Dr. N. Tan and all the nursing staff at CGH, and Home Support for their years of care.
