Simon Pentland passed away suddenly on March 25, 2003. Simon was born August 27, 1959 in Nouvelle, Que.
He is predeceased by his father William Pentland.
He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Mace, of three years; his mother Estelle; two brothers, Leonard and Gary; two sisters, Ruth and Gladys; and his three daughters, Emily, Julie and Starr.
Simon worked on the railroad in Quebec for many years. He lived and saw many places due to his occupation as a truck driver. While he resided in Chilliwack he taught minor hockey. He loved music of all kinds and playing his guitar. He was somewhat of a comedian and would always find a way to make you smile. He will be sadly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 4 p.m. at First Avenue Church of God, 9210 Williams St., Chilliwack. Pastor Nathan Hewitt officiating.
