Shirley “Kathleen” Moore, 76, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2006 in her daughter Laurie’s arms at home in Naples, Florida. She was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on August 22, 1930 to Gilbert and Margaret Roy.Â
Her parents and siblings have predeceased her.
Kathleen was a loving mother to her daughters Laurie Elaine Moore and Allison (Keith) MacDonald. She particularly adored her grandson, Kieran, her sole grandchild.Â
She will be missed by her many loving friends in Chilliwack, Richmond and Victoria, British Columbia.Â
She will live on in our memories as a lover of all living things, from the ducks in Richmond, to her birds, and our many dogs, cats and birds.Â
At her request, there will be no funeral and her ashes will be interred at the Palm Royale Cemetery and Mausoleum, Naples, Florida.
