Sharron Ann John passed away on May 20, 2008 in Chilliwack, BC at age 68 years. She was born July 28, 1939 in Houston, Texas.
Sharron is survived by her husband Lyle; daughters: Gena (Shannon), and Rhoda (Jody); sons: Aleck (Leona) and Josh (Linda); grandchildren: Aleck Jr. Robert, Michael, Thomas, Jacob, Gabriel, Emily, Kianna and Kale; sisters: Karen (Larry) Shaw, nephew Tommy, Tammy and Katie (Tony) and her Aunt Lila.
Sharron’s heart touched many as she freely shared her gifts and knowledge with all who entered her life.
She was a visionary and a planner who was instrumental in bringing the Community School to Chehalis when she was band manager.
During the past 20 years, she helped forge the spiritual path for all aboriginal people in the Corrections system.
Her spirit and her teachings will live on, and she will be missed by all.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 10:00 am at the Chehalis Community School, Chehalis, BC.
