Sarah Schultz passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital on January 24, 2012.
Born on December 1, 1926 in Marquette, Manitoba, she came from a very special, loving family. Her parents, Jacob and Helen Klassen immigrated to Canada from Russia. She was the sixth child to be born to this large family of eight girls and four boys, and she was the first to be born in Canada.
Mom will always be remembered for her loving, soft and patient nature, her fun and energizing spirit and for being the first one in the lake. She will be dearly missed by her children, Don (Ellie) Schultz, Patti (Isaac) Thiessen, Tammy (Bill) Rorke and Leonard (Linda) Toop; as well as her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) Ryall, Dean (Ashley) Schultz, Samantha Schultz, Nathan, Sara and Megan Thiessen, Brandon (Kate) Rorke, Ashley, Amy and Alisha Rorke, and her precious great-grandson Austin Schultz.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Cameron Ross for his kind, attentive and loving care, all the Home Care girls who so diligently cared for mom, her friends at Net Care and the nursing staff on NU5.
Interment in Chilliwack Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave., Chilliwack.
