Sarah E. Olson passed away in Chilliwack, British Columbia April 16, 2005 in her 90th year. She was born Dec 3, 1914 in Saskatoon SK to William and Florence Bradley. Sarah was predeceased by her husband Arthur Bishop Olson of Chilliwack in 1985 and by her first husband Lawrence Woodhead of Saskatoon in 1944 during WWII while overseas. She was also predeceased by a Brother William Bradley of Regina and a sister Beatrice Ewen of Calgary.
Sarah lived and worked in Saskatoon until 1954 when she married Arthur Bishop Olson and moved with him to New Jersey. After Arthur retired in 1973, they moved to Sardis BC. Sarah moved to Chilliwack in 1986 after Arthur passed away.
Sarah is survived by a daughter Donna Daly of West Milford NJ, a step-son Donald Olson of Lynden WA and two step-daughters, Beverly McNally of Moorsboro NC and Linda Titerence of Folson PA. She is also survived by a total of 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 46078 Higginson Rd, Chilliwack, (Sardis) BC on Thursday April 21, 2005, at 1:00 PM Contributions to the St. John’s Anglican Church in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
