Ruth Rose Owen born January 8, 1921 passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 29, 2004 at the age of 83.
She is survived by her loving daughter Debbie (Don) Russell, son Walter Woodcock of Chilliwack, daughter Sharon (John) McWilliams, grandchildren Judy (Wayne) Harstad of Port Alberni, Dennis (Lorece) Hogeweide of Port McNeil, great grandchildren David and Rita Hodgeweide and great great granddaughter Ripley Janzen.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas James Owen (Buzzy).
Ruth will be missed and remembered for her cute and loving ways. A spreading of her ashes by the family will take place at Cultus Lake at a later date.
