Ruth Amos passed away to be with her Lord Jesus on February 5, 2006. She was a loving, delicate woman, a gracious hostess and a loyal friend. She was dedicated to her family and her faith and will be remembered with great love by her husband Rowland, and children Emily, Jamie (Loni), and Marie. She will be greatly missed by her mother Muriel McSkimming, siblings Jean Liesemer, Philip, Daniel and Brooke, and her charge Virginia Fisher. Ruth loved her work as a Registered Nurse at Heritage Village and enjoyed singing in the Cooke’s Presbyterian Choir.
A memorial Service will be held at Cooke’s Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 10 at 1 pm. The family would appreciate donations to The Canadian Bible Society in lieu of flowers.
