Ruth May Brown, born on January 26, 1926 in Piapot, Saskatchewan passed away on January 9, 2006 at Chilliwack General Hospital. She is survived by her children, Ken, Sharon, Ruth and Tom, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Harvey, Ed and Robert; sisters, Doris and Margaret. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Amy Brown, her husband John; son Angus, daughter, Sandra and her grandson Dylan.
Ruth spent her retirement years here in Chilliwack with its mountains nearby and the numerous seniors groups that she became involved with, including her “Wednesday Bingo”.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:00 am from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundations would be appreciated.
