After a lengthy battle with cancer, Ruth Ann Williams passed away at Moog and Friends Hospice House in Penticton on October 31, 2004.
Ruth was born in Kingsville, Ont. on February 26, 1939. She graduated from Metroplitan School of Nursing in Windsor, Ont. in 1960.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Williams; daughter Christine (Randy) Watson; and son David (Pat) Williams; grandchildren, Breanne and Brandon Watson, and Marissa and Nick Williams; and sister Pat France.
She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Richard and Jim France, and sister Betty Dias.
Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Joan France, and brother-in law Roger Dias, and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation there will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 157 Wade Ave., Penticton, B.C., conducted by Rev. Colin Cross.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moog and Friends Hospice House, Penticton, Cancer Society (Cancer Car Project), or charity of choice.
