Royston SINCLAIR

Royston (Roy/Papa) Sinclair, born February. 7, 1911 in Broadview Sask, passed away peacefully June 26, 2006 in Chilliwack General Hospital.

Roy will be sadly missed by all those who knew him, especially his immediate family.

Predeceased by his loving wife Susan (Sue) nee Shand of 47 years, brothers Bill, Mack, Charlie (Chick), Frank, and sister Eunice. He leaves to morn stepson Jack Taylor (Jeannette) of Surrey, stepson Herb Taylor (Gloria) of Brandon Man. Grandchildren Judy, Jack, Jane, Jo-Anne of Surrey and Gary, Pat, Rick, Vallarie of Brandon. Great Grandchildren Corri, Jami, Lee, Melissa, Jennifer, Nikki, Celeste, Jerrica, Regan, Josh. Great, Great Grandchildren, Trey, Tyson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Roy was a World War II veteran serving with the Winnipeg rifles in Normandy. Returning home he worked for Armstrong Cork & Insulation in Winnipeg, later relocating in Vancouver.

He eventually set up his own company, (Roy Sinclair Ltd.) and retired to Lindell Beach on Oct. 3, 1972.

Roy was a very gentle soft spoken man. Thought very highly of by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. A special thanks goes out to his kind and thoughtful neighbours and friends at Lindell Beach.

A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at his place of residence on July 22, 2006, 2-4 P.M.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Chilliwack SPCA.
