Roy Dennis Johns passed away on November 23, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 76 years. He was born in Fulham, London, England on December 21, 1930.
Roy is survived by his loving wife Betty; children, Christine (Robert) Lagasse, Lesley (Garry) Conn, Raymond (Jayne) Johns and Susan (Ken) Breaks; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his sister Doris Leek in England.
He was predeceased by his mother and father and his 6 brothers.
Roy was a good husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a veteran of the British Royal Navy. A man of good strong values, a self-made man, Roy excelled at whatever he tried and had an excellent work ethic. He will be sorely missed.
At Roy’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the BC Lung Association in Roy’s name.
