Ronnie Pettit passed away in at the Chilliwack General Hospital on June 8th, 2005 at the age of 68 after a short fight with cancer. He was born in Nelson, B.C. on June 30, 1936.
Ronnie is survived his five nieces and nephews and his caregivers Arlene and Sandy Ritchie. He is predeceased by his father, Leslie in 1971, mother in 1996, brother Walter and sister Jackie MacAulay in February 2005.
Since his mother’s passing, Ronnie was cared for by Arlene and Sandy Ritchie who thought of him as a member of their family. Ronnie will be missed by his best friend, Jerry Lolacher and all who knew him, as he and Jerry rode around town on their bicycle’s.
A service and tea will be held at Arlene and Sandy Ritchie’s home at a later date.
