Ronald James Rogers died in Chilliwack on Friday, May 26, 2006 at the age of 84 years.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gillian, daughters, Sara (Bob) Begley and Diane (Andre Postmus) Rogers, grandchildren; Jana Keyes, Paula Begley, Kyle Postmus, and great grandchildren; Samantha Russ, Cody Russ and Noah Begley. His mother Nellie Brown and his granddaughter Krista Postmus predeceased him.
Ron was born in 1921 in England and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. Over his 84 years, Ron’s great loves included his wife and family, the church and travel throughout the world.
In lieu of flowers, Ron requests that donations be made in his memory to the St. Thomas Anglican Church in Chilliwack, B.C. Ron’s “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 in St. Thomas Anglican Church at 11:00 am.
