In loving memory of our father, grandfather and friend.
Ronald (Ron) was born in Vancouver, BC he moved to Chilliwack in 1975 and made it his home till he passed. He was predeceased by his father: Charles William Ransom and his mother: Florence Jean Ransom. He is survived by his three sons: Mitch (Rhonda) Ransom, Rob Ransom and Gordon (Debbie) Ransom and his one daughter: Carrie (Dean) Martens. He has three brothers: Charlie (Shirley) Ransom, Bob (Sharon) Ransom and Phillip (Iris) Ransom and one sister: Barbara (Pete) Norton. Ron had seven grandchildren which brought him alot of joy: Michelle, Jeremy, Christopher, Kyle, Ashley, Rachel and Courteney. He was soon to be a great Grandpa to a grandson Silviu, son of Ashley and Dan Valea.
Ron had many friends over the years, some of whom have passed and many of you still out there. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His bright blue eyes, and great big grin.
Dad, you are gone to a better place, a place where you will know no pain, nor suffering or sorrow. There will not be a day, when I can’t see your face. I’m glad you may rest in peace now, we have built special memories you and I, and it’s been quite a journey, and I will cherish those memories forever. Till we meet again Daddy. Love your little girl, Carrie.
There will be a cremation at Ron’s request and a small family and friends memorial to follow. If friends so desire to come please contact Mitch Ransom at 604-607-0632.
