Ron was called to home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 at the age of 58 years, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
He will be deeply and forever missed by his loving wife, RoseAnn, to whom he was married for 21 years and their blended family; his son, Trevor (Predrag) of Vancouver, B.C; her daughters, Michelle (Ron) Buller and Kim (Dan) Doucette, all of Vernon, B.C., their grandchildren, Aimee, Wade, Elise, Autumn and Emma, one brother, Allan (Margaret) Wood of Surrey, B.C. and one nephew, Scott (Shannon) Wood of Victoria, B.C.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Gladys Wood.
Cremation preceded a Celebration of Ron’s life which will be held at First Baptist Church, 1406-32nd Avenue, Vernon, B.C. on Saturday, November 4th, 2006 at 11:00 am with Reverend Awlwyn Balnave and Reverend Dave Penner officiating.
