Roger Frederick Stubbs passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 86 years. He was born in Edmonton, AB on September 21, 1921.
Roger is survived by his wife Susan; Vandy, Carol (Rainer), Bert (Jannelle), John, Alice, Jennifer, Alyna, Aaron, Sara and his brother Ted (Pat) and family, Leslie, Cathy, Tom and Lori.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Alice and his parents Orlando and Blanche.
Roger was a member of the Ryder Lake Community for 48 years. He farmed for many years on his property, raising cattle, poultry, berries and growing a massive vegetable garden. Roger worked at the Sardis Postal Office as a rural mail man. He enjoyed woodworking, growing beautiful flowers, photography and reading.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack.
