Robert Rene Roset born February 15, 1928 in La Plaine, Sask. passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital on March 30, 2003 with his loving wife at his side.
Predeceased by his father Louis Roset; and brother Armand.
He will be deeply missed by many relatives and friends. Robert is survived by his loving family, wife of 40 years, Elaine; sons, Benoit and Francois; daughter Marie (Garry); mother Edna; brother Fay; and many nephews, nieces and in-laws.
Robert was an employee of Canadian National Railway for 40 years, starting in 1946 in Saskatchewan, and retiring in 1986. He enjoyed being an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 3478 and 4th Degree Henry Maurice, Chief Dan George and Bishop Durieu Assemblies, also the IOF.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for their caring and compassion.
Prayers will be held Friday, Apr. 4, 2003 at 8 p.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2003 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
