“Bruce”
Robert Bruce Philbrook passed away suddenly on April 17, 2009 at Chilliwack, BC following a stroke. He was born April 20, 1941 in New Westminster to Harry and Margaret (Marjorie) Philbrook.
Bruce is survived by his brothers: Gordon (Bobbie) and Grant; nephews: Craig (Nancy), Glenn (Carla) and Trevor (Rosanne); niece, Shannon; grandnephews and nieces: Jennifer, Cole, Kierra and Ashley.
Bruce moved to Chilliwack in 1972 and was a highly regarded employee for many years at Fraser Valley Tireland. Bruce cherished the 29 years that he was a volunteer firefighter at Hall #4. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Chilliwack Fish and Game Club. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC.
