Robert Melvin Armstrong late of Chilliwack, passed away July 2, 2002 in Vancouver. He was born December 28, 1925 in Vancouver. Robert was a veteran of the Second World War, and served with the Seaforth Highlanders.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.
Robert is survived by his wife Bea; son Robbie (Honey) of Chilliwack; daughter Cindy (Robin) Jeffery of Quick, B.C.; five grandchildren, Rayna, Avery, Hayla, Autumn and Aaron; and two great-grandchildren, Stuart and Hannah. He was predeceased by one brother Ralph; and a sister Donna.
Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or Kidney Foundation.
