Rita May Mary Margaret Munroe, late of Chilliwack B.C.
Passed away December 2, 2003 in Heritage Village, Chilliwack, B.C. at age 82.
Was born October 3, 1921, in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.
She had lived Chilliwack for 21 years.
Rita began her life in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. She came from a very poor family who had only their sense of humor to get them through the hard times. Her parents passed away while she was still very young, which left Rita to live with foster families.
Rita met her future husband, while she was still a teenager. She didn’t know it then, but she was in for a very hard life, with very little rewards. She raised 12 children with a very demanding husband and limited resources. Even when the times were bad, she always used her humor and outspoken personality to make every one feel better.
Rita had a very big heart, and whenever something was given to her, she wouldn’t hesitate to give her gift away to someone who needed it. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Is survived by: 7 sons, and 4 daughters, Her 32 Grandchildren & many Gt Grandchildren.
