October 14, 1955 — April 15, 2004
After bravely fighting a prolonged illness Rick had the pleasure of a last gathering with all of his family before he quietly passed on to his eternal home.
Rick has left behind two teenage daughters, LeAnne and Michal and his wife, Rose. He will also be missed by his mother, Grace, father, Lee, as well as his sister, Laurel and brothers, Lyle and Daryl.
Rick’s adventuresome and outgoing nature made him fun to be around. And his soft-hearted and generous disposition won him the affection of many. Even while struggling with life besetting problems he never forgot the God who made Himself known to him in that simple service in Grande Prairie, Alta.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Prairie Chapel, 1929 Interprovincial Hwy, Abbotsford, B.C.
