Rev. Dr. John A. Ross passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Monday, Feb. 10, 2003 at the age of 83, at Mission Memorial Hospital. He was born October 17, 1919 in Stayner, Ont.
He is lovingly remembered by Kay, his dear wife of nearly 60 years; four children, Robin (Evelyn), Dawn Ross, Martin (Elizabeth), and Karen (Norman) Knuff; seven grandchildren, Carelle (Doug), John, David, Erica, Kevin, George, and Katelyn; and great-granddaughter Kianna.
Dr. Ross served as a Presbyterian minister in Ontario, and for 26 years, as the Dean of St. Andrew’s Hall and Presbyterian Chaplain at UBC.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Cooke’s Presbyterian Church at 45825 Wellington St., Chilliwack.
Burial will be held at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
Donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Hall in memory of Dr. John Ross.
