Raymond AUCOIN

Raymond Aucoin late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away June 22, 2004 at the age of 61 years. He was born November 17, 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He spent 31 years in the military and another 6 years as a civilian for D.N.D.

He was a member of the Aquadel Golf Course for 20 years and aced the 13th hole on Father’s Day 2004.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Marg; daughter, Dina (Derrick) Goodridge of Timberlea, Nova Scotia; step-children: Richard Blakney and fiance’, Donya Heaton of Calgary; Cheryl (Craig) Sturko of Penticton; Charlie Blakney and Craig Blakney both of Calgary; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roland (Bonnie) Aucoin of Burlington, Ont.; Leo (Marjorie) Aucoin of Calgary; 2 sisters, Lucille (Gerry) Blaney of Burlington, Ont. and Annette Aucoin of Halifax. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Rose Aucoin.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2004 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Pentland officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium, Chilliwack.

Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC and Yukon.
