Ralph Doyscher passed away suddenly at his home on November 28, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ralph was born May 2nd, 1931 in Lake Lenore, Saskatchewan.
He married Frances Schedlosky in 1952 and relocated in 1955 to Port Alberni, B.C.
In 1959 he took up residence in Chilliwack B.C. He worked as a mechanic from 1949 to 1986. He worked from 1964 to 1978 at Westgate Motors. He also worked on the Board of the Society for Community Living for 17 years as well as working as a volunteer caller for their weekly Bingo for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Frances; three daughters Linda, Donna (Dave) and Janice (Jeff) as well as four grandchildren Nicole, Melanie, Trina and Ryan. He is also survived by his sister Leona Reider from Port Alberni, brother-in-law Bill (Hilda) Summer and sister-in-law Lorraine Leohr and numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 8909 Mary St. Chilliwack, B.C. Thursday Dec. 1, 2005. A Funeral Mass followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Friday Dec. 2, 2005. Fr. Gary Gordon celebrant. Should family and friends so desire donations in Ralph’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Society for community Living or the Canadian Cancer Society.
