It is with deep sadness that we announce that Patrick Griffin passed away peacefully on May 13, 2009 at Chilliwack General Hospital at age 79 years. He was born in Peterborough, England, and emigrated to Canada in 1956.
Pat had a successful 25-year career in the Air Force.
Pat is survived by his loving wife, Stella; daughters: Pamela (Gordon) Chatry and Jane (David) Pender; and son, Stephen (Cheryl); grandchildren: Megan and Morgan Chatry, Caitlin and Neal Pender; and great-grandchildren: Jeremy Chatry, Hope Chatry and Aiden Stacey.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 1:30 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6300 Tyson Rd. Chilliwack. Interment in Vedderview Gardens Cemetery.
If any so desire, memorial donations to BC SPCA, the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be welcome.
