Patricia Wiens passed away suddenly on May 11th, 2004 peacefully at her home in Chilliwack at the age of 77 years.
Pat was born in Peterson, Sask. on February 20, 1927 and moved to Chilliwack in 1946 where she married Jack Wiens and raised her family.
Pat was a lady of grace and generosity and her main focus throughout her life was her family. She was always willing to give of her time, wisdom and comfort and did so with an abundance of love.
She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Bonnie Hoium (Brian), and sons Gary Wiens (Holly) and Pat Wiens (Marivic), granddaughter Shannon Kostering (Mark), grandson Brett Jay-Wiens, great grand children Lisa and Riley Kostering, sister Cecila Baldwin of Saskatchewan and brothers Tom Fraser and Ron Gordon of England along with numerous sisters/brothers in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband and best friend Jack Wiens on May 17, 1985, parents Tom and Liz Fraser, sisters Elizabeth, Agnes, Jean and Gladys and brothers Bob, Sandy and Donald.
Henderson’s Funeral Home was in charge of the “Celebration of Life” on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
