Patricia (Pat) Sturmey (nee Lee) passed away peacefully at CGH, Sunday, March 28, 2010 at age 64.
Pat was born in Chilliwack, the third of eight children. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, who passed away in 2007. Pat is survived by her sons, James Street (Kathy), Randal Street (Leva); grandchildren Chase and Jodie (James) and Mykolas (Randal), as well as several sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and her constant canine companion, Maggie May Sturmey.
Pat always maintained a good sense of humour and her smile and laughter always brought out the best in the people that she held dear. She will be missed immensely.
The family wishes to thank the staff, doctors and nurses at the Abbotsford BC Cancer Agency, as well as Dr. Do and her family physician, Dr. Bull. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage well wishers to donate to the BC Cancer Society or the Chilliwack Hospice Society.
