‘Pat’
Patricia ‘Pat’ Butchart, late of Chilliwack, B.C., passed away with her family by her side on May 15, 2008 at the age of 81, at Maplewood House, Abbotsford, B.C.
She is survived by her daughters: Alice (Eric) Heringa, Pat Neufeld (Peter Stevenson), Bev (Gerry) Jensen, and her son Garry Butchart; six grandchildren: Tonya, Shane, Kari, Sarah, Noel, René and six great-grandchildren; her brother William (Marg) Worrall, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 1991, her sister Jean, and brother Ken.
Pat was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chilliwack, B.C. She will also be remembered for her volunteer work with several clubs and charities in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
Her wishes were that she be cremated and there be no service. Her ashes will be interred with Jim’s at Little Mountain in Chilliwack.
A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C., with Chaplain Dianne Holland officiating.
They would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Maplewood House, Abbotsford, for their wonderful care, kindness and support.
