Pamela D. WOODRUFF

On Wednesday August 29, 2007, Pamela Woodruff passed away at Baker Lodge in Quesnel, B.C.

Pam was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 62 years, John H. Woodruff U.E. and her granddaughter Melissa. 

She is survived by her children: David (Rosemary) of Princeton, Stephen (Patti) of Gibsons, Irene of Princeton, Mark (Susan) of Chilliwack and Michael of Quesnel.

She is sadly missed by her proud grandchildren Shawn, Shane (Laura), Lisa (Dan), Scott (Jana), Ryan, Chad (Sarah), Jodi (Jim), Jason, Amber and Lindsay. She was a great-grandmother to Brittany, Cole, Marshall, Owen, Brooklyn, Hilary, Danica, Jayda, Ashleigh, and Jenna.

Pamela was born in Croydon, England and came to Canada as a war bride in 1946 where they took up residency in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In 1957, in one old truck, Pamela, her husband, five children and two dogs drove across Canada, starting a new home in British Columbia.

They lived in White Rock for 13 years and later moved to the Chilliwack area.

Pam and Jack eventually built their retirement cabin at Glimpse Lake which was her favourite place. They later moved to Quesnel.

Pam’s house was always full of love and laughter. Over the years Pam enjoyed family times, painting and knitting. She will be lovingly remembered by all who were close to her.

The Interment of Pamela’s cremated remains will take place at a later time.

Memorial donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
