Peacefully, on December 31, 2006 in his 81st year, Oswald Kaiser passed away. Loving remembered by his wife of 39 years, Luise; his daughter June; son Mike (Mary-Anne); granddaughters Nicole Etherington, Kirsten (George) Tait and Jessica White and great grandsons Devan and Jordan. He is also survived by his sister Eva and her family, 3 brothers in Germany; Fritz, Gerd and Otto and their families.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Marga and his brothers, Paul and Hans.
Oswald worked for CN Rail for 32 years in the engineering dept.. starting on the BC Northline in the early 1950’s and finally retiring in Chilliwack in the mid 1980’s. He had the respect of all the people he worked with as well as everyone he met throughout his long and useful life.
Private family service only will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
