It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olive Helen Currence at the Chilliwack General Hospital on Friday, November 5th 2010 at the age of 77 years.
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Clifford, her 4 daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren, Debbie Currence and Marcel Boulianne, Valerie and Clayton Greve and their children Shane and Jennie, Denise Perreault and Dale Greve and son Sean Perreault and daughter Sara Greve, and Janice and Dino Stefanucci. Her sister Millie McDonald of Devon, Alberta and brothers Alex Procyk and wife Fran and Zan Procyk and wife Shirley all from Vancouver, BC, plus many extended family members including numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Olive was born the 9th child out of ten on May 27th 1933 in Lamont, Alberta to predeceased parents Nicholas and Mary Procyk. She will be fondly remembered for her loving and caring devotion to her family and her willingness to help others. Despite the many health issues she endured throughout her lifetime, she always fought back with amazing strength, courage and determination. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out, she had a warm and caring heart; wonderful smile and a great sense of humour, fun and playfulness… she “sparkled” in her own unique way and that spark will forever remain in our hearts.
Fly high into the sky on Angels Wings knowing you were loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

A Tea in Celebration of Olive’s Life will be held on Friday, November 12th 2010 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Henderson’s Funeral Home Tea Room, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be sincerely grateful if donations were made in honour of Olive to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
