Olive Georgina MORROW (nee Coombs)

A long time resident of Agassiz, B.C., Olive Georgina Morrow, (nee Coombs), passed away peacefully November 20th, 2002 at the Glenwood Resthome. Born in Vancouver, B.C., October 12th, 1909, Olive was in her 94th year. Predeceased by Norman, her husband of 52 years, in 1983, her sisters Elfrieda Curry and Annabelle Clement, her bother Harry Coombs, and son-in-law Terence Scaife, she is survived by daughter, Barbara, her son, Gordon and wife Norma, four grandchildren; Colleen (Albert) Schiller, Tracey (Jason) Hackler, Bradley, and Geoff (Olga), and eight great-grandchildren; Steven and Heather, Alex, J.J., and Rachel, Vance, and Brandon and Chance.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday, November 25th, 2002, in the Agassiz United Church, the Rev. John Smallman officiating. Interment to follow in Valleyview Cemetery, Henderson’s (Chilliwack) in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon, or the Agassiz United Church Fireside Group. Special heartfelt thanks are extended to Drs. MacIntosh, Dueck, and Smith, and the compassionate staff of Glenwood Resthome for their kind and loving care of Mother during the past year.
