It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Olga Lyng Reid (nee Andersen) on August 11, 2006 at Chilliwack, B.C. in her 79th year. She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will be remembered by her loving husband – Dave, 5 children, 2 sons – in - law, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 5 sisters – in - law, 2 brothers – in - law and many nieces and nephews.
Olga was born in Standard, Alberta on September 10, 1927. She maintained a strong love for her family, nature, and her friends throughout her life and was known for her fierce determination and true friendship.
Many friends in Chilliwack, Sqaumish and Westwold helped Olga and her entire family during some difficult times. For this our family offers heartfelt thanks.
A celebration of the life of this remarkable lady will take place on Wednesday August 16, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home 45901 Victoria Ave., Chilliwack, B.C.
