Norman passed away peacefully after a long struggle with diabetes, on Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Abbotsford, B.C. He was 78 years of age.
Norm was the youngest of four children born to John and Edith Best, when they lived in Trail, B.C.
He is survived by Ruth, his loving wife of 54 years; his children, Jackie (Steve) Colchester, Cindy, Norman and Alice (Sean) Gallagher; his granddaughters, Rebecca (Warren), Roslyn, Jennine and Katie (Josh), as well as his great-granddaughter, Ruth.
Norm loved his family and life and always had a bright, positive outlook. He was cheerful - right to the end.
At his request, no formal service is planned, but, as Norm would say:
“Keep Smiling…”
